BPT is a professional medical course which teaches the treatment of many medical diseases through the use of exercise and electrotherapy. . It is of 4.5 years duration, including 4 years of study and 6 months internship. You will be called a Doctor after doing this course. You can treat conditions like backache, knee pain, cervical, paralysis and gout etc. The scope of BPT has grown immensely in present times as the medical problems in which physiotherapy is effective is on the rise because of the modern lifestyle of people. The BPT course in our college is affiliated to Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut..

Eligibility for B.P.T is 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with 45% marks aggregate. (pass marks for S.C and S.T candidates).
Lateral entry to B.P.T 2nd year is possible after Diploma in Physiotherapy with 60% marks. The Diploma should be of minimum 2 years and  recognized by the U.P. State Govt. / Indian Association of Physiotherapy. Admission for Lateral Entry candidates is direct and not on the basis of the online registration process of C.C.S.University.

ii. Drug Inspector (DI) / Food Inspector (FI) - A Pharmacy graduate can be absorbed in the Regulatory bodies like Food and Drug Administration. Pharmacist having experience in clinical trial centers can also apply for government post like Drug Inspector (DI) / Food Inspector (FI), for these they have to qualify written exams conducted by various state govt. from time to time.
iii. Pharmacist (Govt./ Private) – Being in the health-related field, the Pharmacy graduate can be Health-system Pharmacist or Hospital Pharmacist or Community Pharmacist.
iv. Quality Assurance Health Manager (Govt./ Private) – The Pharmacy graduate can play an important role in the development of clinical care plans, can investigate adverse medication events and in some cases can suggest preventive measures. He can play a key role in spreading awareness amongst the people about AIDS and the preventive measures to be taken.
v. Medical Transcriptor (Govt. / Private)- The Pharmacy graduate can work with medical practitioners to maintain the patient treatment history, the drug to which he/she is allergic etc.
vi. Analytical Chemist or Quality Control Manager (Govt. / Private) – The pharmacy graduate can play a crucial role in controlling product quality. The drug and the Cosmetics Act (1945), Rules 71(1) and 76(1) says that the manufacturing activity should be taken up under the supervision of a technical individual whose qualification should be B Pharm, B Sc, B Tech or medicine with Bio-Chemistry.
vii. Sales and Marketing (Govt. / Private) – Ambitious achievers with pleasant personality and good communication skills can apply for the job of Medical Sales Representative. The companies prefer pharmacy graduates for this job, as they have a good knowledge about the drug molecules, their therapeutic effects and the drug –drug interactions.
viii. Clinical Research (Govt. / Private) - B Pharm/ M Pharm degree holders can take up career in clinical research. The human testing phase is called the clinical trial. A pharmacy graduate can work as clinical research associate or clinical pharmacist and can rise to the position of project manager. The clinical research associate plays an important role of monitoring and overseeing the conducts of clinical trials, which are conducted on healthy human volunteers. They have to see that the trials meet the international guidelines and the national regulatory requirements.
ix. Data Manager (Govt./ Private)- A pharmacy graduate can seek employment as "Data Manager" to store the data in the computer and process it using software developed for the purpose.
x. Regulatory Manager (Govt. / Private) - A pharmacy graduate can work as "Regulatory Manager" (RM) in companies and contract research organization (CRO's). As an RM he has to oversee regulatory documentation such as Clinical trial approval permission, marketing approval permission etc.
xi. Higher studies- A B.Pharm graduate may pursue higher degree programs like M.Pharm, Pharmaceutical MBA and Ph. D etc and may go for research work..

After completion of fourth year B Pharmacy you have to apply to the PCI office of respective zones with your B Pharmacy documents and then can collect the registration certificate
