Session 3&4, 5th Jan, 2016
“Optimum (Wiener) Filters” -Dr. Tarun Kumar Rawat, NSIT
Optimization of filters and the specifically optimized filter – the Wiener Filter.Wiener-Hopf equations for the mathematical modeling of optimum filters.Sampling, Prediction (single step prediction and multi-step prediction). Signal Modelling – Autoregression, Moving Average and ARMA (Auto Regression and Moving Average).
Session 1 &2, 6th Jan, 2016
“VANETs -Vehicular Area NETworks”-Dr. D. K. Lobiyal, SC&SS, JNU

Session 3 &4, 6th Jan, 2016
“Digital Image Processing using MATLAB” -Dr. Umesh Ghanekar
Digital image representation, compression and filtering techniques. The tools used are basically variants of Cosine Transform – KL Transform, HAR transform etc. Morphological processing – used for boundary extraction; erosion and dilation.Visible and invisible digital watermarking using Steganography of three types – robust (e.g. in logos of TV channels), semi-fragile (e.g. in medical data) and fragile (e.g. in copyrighting)
Session 1 &2, 7th Jan, 2016
“MEMS Switch using finite element analysis software – ANSYS/Multiphysics ” -Dr. Navaid
Capabilities of ANSYS as compared to HFSS, Cadence and CST software packages. Thermal and Mechanical simulation of Intel Pentium II module. Thermal analysis of SMD IC package.Thermal mechanical fatigue simulation of a flip chip.
Session 3 &4, 7th Jan, 2016
“Rectangular Dielectric Resonating Antenna” -Dr. Yaduvanshi
Ceramics are used instead of the metallic materials in Rectangular Dielectric Resonating Antenna. The permittivity of this ceramic has to be greater than 10. 4G Wireless communication requires ultra wide band antennas.Resonators parameters: excitation, standing waves, electrical energy, and magnetic energy.
