The dedicated team of faculty members and professional counselors help aspiring students to identify career options which are suitable to their talents and interests. This team also helps students in understanding their strengths, identify an aligned career options and to work on weaknesses to improve upon. Regular workshops on Personality grooming, interviewing skills and technical subjects prepares students ready to serve in industry. Student Mentor Program

I.T.S – The Education Group understands and recognizes the importance of student-mentor relationship as it plays crucial role developing confidence among students with its imprints on student’s life. This also helps in building up an emotional connect and long term relationship between students, faculty and institute, encourages students to share, discuss and resolved their academic or personal issues. Institutes, under the umbrella of I.T.S Group have adopted and formalized Mentor-Mentee Concept (MMC) to help mentees in understanding them, identifying and formulating plans for excelling in academics and their career options by exploiting their strengths and working on weaknesses to improve upon.

Objective of Mentor-Mentee concept is to support students in their academic and other issues resolved better, to make them a confident and at the same time provide them individualized attention and care so that they do not left on their own. The Mentor-Mentee Concept (MMC) exists to aid newly admitted students familiarize, understand and adopt a new academic & learning environment by removing the issues of getting acquaintance with new environment during initial phase arising out of shyness, fears by communicating, expectations and optimism.

At I.T.S, we believe in the philosophy that a good beginning means Half Win and thus at all the institutes of the Group, a rigorous & intensive Orientation Programme helps in removing all initial hick-ups after joining the institutes. Keeping in view the specific course requirements customized & well planned Orientation programs helps them in understanding the institute, course, facilities, the academic set-up, mutual expectations and preparing accordingly. The special sessions on increasing Mental abilities, Meditation, interaction with Industry leaders imbibes the confidence among newly admitted students which plays as a motivator to study, learn, implement and practice so that they become a professionally competent human beings and serve the society in a better way.

Anti-Ragging Cell

  • Ragging, for the purposes of this ordinance, shall ordinarily mean any act, conduct or practice by which the dominant power or status of senior students is brought upon the students where in any way considered junior or inferior by the former and includes individual or collective acts or practices which:
    • Involve physical assault or threat to use physical force.
    • Violate the status, dignity and honor of students, in particular, women students and those belonging ta scheduled caste or a scheduled tribe.
    • Expose students to ridicule or contempt or commit an act which may lower their self esteem.
    • Entail verbal abuse, mental or physical torture, aggression, corporal punishment, harassment, trauma, indecent gesture and obscene behavior.
  • Ragging in any form shall be strictly prohibited within the premises of the institutes of the I.T.S The Education, as the case may be, or in any part of the its constituent institutions system as well as on public transport, or at any other place, public or private.
  • Any individual or collective act or practice of ragging shall constitute an act of gross indiscipline and shall be dealt with under the provisions of the subject/ law.
  • The Directors of the institutes or the Director General of the institution, as the case may be, shall, without fail, take immediate action on the receipt of any information that ragging has taken place or is likely to take place.
  • Notwithstanding anything contained in the above clause, The Warden or The Registrar may also Suo motu inquire into any incident of ragging or likelihood of such incident and make a report to the Director/ Director General clearly stating, among other details, the identity of the student or the students who were involved in the incident and the nature of the incident, provided that such information must be submitted in strict confidence.
  • The Proctorial Board/ Discipline Committee, as the case may be, may also submit an interim report to the Director/ Director General of respective institutes establishing the identity of the perpetrators of ragging and the nature of the incident.
  • If the Convener of Meeting of Proctorial Board/ Head of the Discipline Committee is satisfied that for any reason, to be recorded in writing, it is not feasible to hold an inquiry, he may so advise the Director/ Director Generals, as amay be the case, accordingly.
  • Where the Director/ Director General, as may be applicable, is satisfied, on receipt of a recommendation to this effect or otherwise, that it is not expedient to hold an inquiry into an incident of ragging, he shall order accordingly for reasons to be recorded in writing.

Anti-Ragging squads will be highly vigilant in the respective institutional campuses, hostels, cafeterias and all other areas including lawns and class rooms and outside the campus. All the students, are hereby warned to not to indulge in ragging in any of its form, whatsoever, stringent punitive action will be taken against those found guilty of ragging which may include the expulsion from the institute and FIR under the appropriate sections of IPC to nearest Police station.

Punishment(s) in the event of Ragging

Depending upon the gravity of offence as established by the anti-ragging committee of respective institutions of the group, the punishments for those found guilty of ragging shall be punished which may range from Suspension from attending classes with a cash fine of substantial amount and academic privileges to the Rustication from the respective institute.

  • Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges.
  • Withholding/withdrawing scholarship/ facilities and other benefits.
  • Forfeiting Campus Placement opportunities / recommendations.
  • Debarring from appearing in any sessional/University External examination or other evaluation process.
  • Debarring from representing theInstitution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
  • Suspension/expulsion from the hostel.
  • Cancellation of admission.
  • Rustication from the respective institute.
  • A cash fine of substantial amount.
